I will dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
